Pizzo San Michele is located in the Regional Park of Monti Picentini and with its 1567 mt, the top of the mountain guards the highest summit sanctuary in Italy. Dedicated to the cult of St. Michael the Archangel, Pizzo San Michele is defined as Monte Sacro. You will experience a unique excursion both from the historical and naturalistic point of view. At the top you can see the plain of Salerno and Avellino, Vesuvius, Partenio, Matese and the Gulf of Naples. To enjoy the atmosphere is possible in summer the option to spend the night on top in bivouac waiting for the dawn gives extraordinary emotions. On the way back to the rural residence l’Incartata it will be possible to taste wine and typical local products cultivated at the farm of the residence.
